The mountain village of Ampelos on Samos

The small, very traditional mountain village of Ampelos lies approximately 3.5 kilometres above Agios Konstantinos. This is where our holiday homes can be found. Barely touched by tourism, the village offers – in addition to its breathtaking sea views enjoyed from various points – a good starting point for walking or mountain bike tours. On the "Platia", directly next to the church are two taverns. There is also a small shop where the necessities (milk, bread, drinks, etc.) can be bought.

Coastal places

Agios Konstantinos is a small, tranquil coastal village between Kokkari and Karlovassi. The village stretches along the coastal road towards the sea and is a favourite destination above all for holidaymakers and walkers who organise their individual trips seeking peace and quiet. Its location in the geographic centre of the north makes Agios an ideal central starting point for exploring the island. Above the village, situated directly on the main road is a small supermarket that provides everything for daily needs. The centre of the village stretches along the sea shore and provides home to various taverns, bars and minimarkets as well as a small and beautiful harbour. There is no ATM in Agios, the nearest one can be found in Kokkari or Karlovassi.

Beach holiday on Samos

Samos has a lot to offer for beach fans. Small secluded bathing bays, sand beaches and pebble coves enclosed by rocks. The nearest beach is only an approximately 6-minute car ride from our holiday homes in Ampelos. The other beaches on the west of the north coast are Potami, Agios Konstantinos, Svala-Beach, Tsambou, Tsamadou, Avlakia, Lemonakia and Kokkari Beach.
